Baccarat Crystal from Lorraine
Baccarat has been making crystal in Lorraine since 1764. The Harmonie whisky decanter is mouth-blown and handmade in France. It shares its hallmark with the entire Harmonie bar collection: a vertical arc of cuts that structures the four sides and gives the crystal spatial depth. The finishing touch is a diamond-cut, bevelled stopper that echoes the geometry of the body.
Its Effect on Your Home Bar
When filled, the decanter shows what the cuts are made for. The lines refract the light and make the colour of the whisky appear lighter or darker depending on the angle of view. At 1960 g, the decanter stands steadily on a sideboard or bar cart and feels weighty in the hand when pouring. Its clear, angular silhouette suits a modern home bar just as well as a classically furnished salon.
The Harmonie Collection
Alongside the square whisky decanter, the Harmonie collection includes a round whisky decanter as well as tumblers and highball glasses with the same cut pattern. Those who serve whisky and cocktails can thus put together a consistent ensemble. As a gift, the decanter is aimed at whisky lovers and collectors of Baccarat crystal.
Tip
Combine the square Harmonie decanter with the Harmonie tumblers: the vertical cuts are repeated on the glasses and visually unite decanter and glasses into a set.
