Arte International is a design house that has been in existence since 1981 and is owned by the Desart family. Since then, the decorative design of the wall coverings and wallpapers has been realized with an idiosyncratic and incredibly creative style. The Belgian manufacturer's creative team perfectly implements the passion for organic and picturesque wall designs, which is evident from the fact that the elaborate implementation and creative process is seen as a research project. This highly precise work takes a lot of time, but results in expressive collections every year. Its success is reflected in the fact that Arte wallpapers and panoramic images adorn the walls of living areas and project interiors in more than 80 countries around the world.
Sustainability, responsibility & design
Every year, the creative team of experienced designers creates various new collections. All these new products must not only be innovative and trendy, but also of outstanding quality. About half of the products are manufactured using environmentally friendly processes in Arte's production facilities. The production of a small number of wallcoverings is entrusted to external partners who apply the same quality and sustainability standards. Arte's wallpapers and wall coverings are subject to CO2 neutrality requirements. This means that certified and sustainable materials are used to produce the high-quality and stylish designer pieces in order to minimize the ecological footprint. In addition, Arte offsets any remaining emissions by supporting sustainable and 100% certified climate protection projects.
