Ilha by Casamance is an outdoor jacquard from the Madère collection, woven from 61% polypropylene and 39% polyacrylic. As an outdoor upholstery fabric with a weight of 644 g/m² and 25,000 rub cycles, Ilha is designed for cushions, covers and upholstery outdoors. A small geometric pattern gives the surface texture without being overbearing.

Material and weave
For Ilha, Casamance weaves a twisted bouclé yarn together with a finer yarn. This creates the sculpted surface of the jacquard, whose geometric motif repeats every 9 cm across the width and every 6 cm along the length. According to the manufacturer, the fibres are solution-dyed: the colour is part of the fibre itself and is not applied afterwards. Casamance describes the fabric as colourfast, quick-drying and resistant to chlorine and salt water as well as to mildew. Ilha is made in Turkey.
