Die Tapete wird von Hand gewebt – pro Meter braucht es einen ganzen Tag sorgfältiger Handarbeit. Die Gewinnung der Raffia‑Faser erfolgt so, dass die Palmwälder regeneriert bleiben. Nicht die ganze Pflanze wird entnommen, sondern nur Teile der Blätter – so bleibt das Gleichgewicht der Natur gewahrt.
