Exotische Kombinationen aus organischen Formen, Blumen und Blättern werden seit Hunderten von Jahren in gestickten Stoffen verwendet. Passerine steht ganz in dieser Tradition, mit seiner üppigen Mischung aus organischen Motiven und pfingstrosenähnlichen Blumen, die ein leichtes Schleppenmuster bilden. Der üppige Seidengrund ist in fein abgestuften Farben aufwendig bestickt und passt gut zu den reichhaltigen Flor- und Uni-Stoffen der Colefax-Reihe.
