Material: solution-dyed polyester
With solution-dyed polyester, the colour pigment is added to the melt before the fibre is drawn from the spinneret. The colour is therefore found inside every individual fibre rather than as a layer on its surface. For Rex by Jane Churchill, 50,000 rub cycles are stated, a figure you can use when comparing upholstery fabrics.
Using the Jane Churchill Rex fabric
Villa Kontor classifies Rex as an outdoor fabric, an upholstery fabric and a curtain fabric.
