Porcelain from Berlin, designed by Thomas Wenzel
KPM Berlin makes the LAB Bowls 14 by hand in Berlin. Each bowl measures 14.5 cm in diameter and 4.2 cm in height and holds 250 ml. These proportions keep them shallow: yoghurt with fruit, a dessert or a side dish sits openly in the bowl and stays easy to reach. With six identical bowls, you can lay a uniform table for breakfast or a menu for six people.
The KPM LAB Bowl Set in everyday use
Thomas Wenzel designed the LAB series for multiple uses. The LAB Plate 14 fits on these bowls as a lid. Covered in this way, the bowls can be stacked even when filled, for example in the fridge. The plate is not part of the set and is available separately.
At the table, the LAB Bowls 14 serve snacks, finger food, breakfast or small starters, either on their own or together with the LAB Plate 14. After the meal, they can go in the dishwasher. According to KPM, they are also suitable for the microwave, so you can heat prepared side dishes directly in the bowl.
Tip
Prepare side dishes or desserts and place one LAB Plate 14 on each bowl as a lid. This way, you can stack several filled bowls in the fridge, saving space.
