Product information "KPM Löberschale klein Edition Ringlet Rosé"
The KPM Löberschale goes back to a design by Wilhelm Löber from 1929; the Royal Porcelain Manufactory Berlin still produces it today as a design classic. In the Edition Ringlet Rosé, the small Löberschale features a hand-painted ring decoration and accents in glossy platinum. The edition is limited to 35 individually numbered pieces.

Porcelain and hand painting from the Berlin manufactory
KPM makes the Löberschale by hand in Berlin. For the Edition Ringlet, the porcelain painters work on three surfaces using three techniques. On the inside, they draw the ring pattern with a brush. The rim and base are painted with glossy platinum, which the manufacturer deliberately uses as a colour accent. On the outside, the colour is dabbed on by hand, so that glossy and matt areas alternate. Löber's clear 1929 form is retained: the decoration follows the bowl rather than covering it.
The KPM Löberschale on the table and sideboard
KPM describes the Löberschale as a fruit bowl. With a diameter of 28.5 cm and a capacity of 2000 ml, the small version holds a day's portion of fruit and remains an object that stands on its own even when empty, on a sideboard or dining table. The rosé tone and the platinum look as good alongside light wood, linen and white porcelain as they do on dark surfaces.
Because only 35 pieces are made and each bears its own number, the bowl is well suited as a collector's piece and as a gift for lovers of porcelain and design. Villa Kontor delivers it in a gift box. KPM has also released the Edition Ringlet in yellow and turquoise.
