Product information "KPM Vase Cadre 0 Edition Amaryllis"
The KPM Vase Cadre 0 from the Amaryllis Edition combines a 1967 design by Trude Petri with a wintry decoration. The Royal Porcelain Manufactory Berlin paints this small porcelain vase by hand with amaryllis blooms and brushstrokes in 24-carat burnished gold. At 6.5 cm long and 3.5 cm wide, it holds a single bloom or a sprig.

Form and decoration from the Berlin manufactory
KPM Berlin makes the Vase Cadre 0 by hand at the manufactory on the Tiergarten. Its rectangular shape goes back to a tea caddy that Trude Petri designed for the URBINO service. In 1967 the vase was still called "Vase Tee", and from 1984 "Quadre". Its clear geometry has barely changed since.
For the Amaryllis Edition, the porcelain painters paint the blooms by hand. Brushstrokes in 24-carat burnished gold add accents, and a gold rim frames the opening. For this reason, no two pieces are exactly alike.
A solitaire vase for the festive table
KPM describes the Amaryllis Edition as having a Christmassy character. On a laid table, on a windowsill or beside a guest's place setting, the mini vase holds a fir sprig, a Christmas rose or a single amaryllis stem. As a limited edition, it also makes a fine gift for collectors of KPM porcelain.
