Kvadrat Alpaca Leno is a semi-sheer curtain fabric from the Danish textile manufacturer Kvadrat, made in Italy. Alpaca, wool and lyocell give the fabric a soft yet distinctly textured feel. The open leno weave lets daylight filter softly into the room.

Material and weave of Kvadrat Alpaca Leno
The fabric is made from 58% wool, 17% alpaca, 14% lyocell and 11% viscose, spun into staple fibre yarn. Kvadrat lists these fibres as renewable raw materials. It is woven in a leno weave: adjacent warp threads twist around one another and hold the weft threads apart. This creates an open, stable structure that does not slip.
Kvadrat describes Alpaca Leno as soft yet hard-wearing, with a shimmering depth in the open surface. The fabric belongs to the Frequency collection.

As a semi-sheer curtain, Alpaca Leno softens direct light and reduces views in from outside, without darkening the room. The width of 315 cm offers plenty of scope for generous window fronts.
