Kvadrat Forestview is an upholstery fabric made from pure new wool, designed by Patricia Urquiola for Kvadrat. Its multicoloured jacquard pattern translates the view of a forest from above into geometric, pine-like shapes and gives the surface a tactile, topographical structure.

Material and weave
Kvadrat weaves Forestview using a digital jacquard process from worsted yarn, 96% new wool and 4% nylon. Each colourway is made up of five yarn colours. A thicker yarn in the main colour determines the base tone, while finer yarns in other colours give the fabric depth. The result is a kind of digital mélange. The pattern is omnidirectional and follows no fixed direction.
Kvadrat Forestview for home and contract use
Kvadrat recommends Forestview for residential and commercial interiors. In the Martindale test according to EN ISO 12947, the fabric achieves 70,000 cycles, which is above the guideline values for public areas of 25,000 to 45,000 cycles. Kvadrat itself points out that values above 40,000 cycles do not allow any conclusion about service life. For pilling, the manufacturer states a rating of 3 to 4 according to EN ISO 12945, as well as Greenguard Gold certification. At 144 cm wide, Forestview is suitable for sofas, armchairs, chairs and cushions.

Villa Kontor offers Forestview in several colourways. The palette ranges from light wheat and cream shades through brown to dark tones, burnt pinks and strong blue.
