Kvadrat Palf is a semi-sheer curtain fabric whose yarn is twisted from pineapple leaf fibre and lyocell. The pineapple leaf fibre is a by-product of the pineapple harvest. Woven in Italy, Palf has a lively, irregular surface that looks as if it were woven by hand.

Kvadrat Palf: Material and Weave
With Palf, Kvadrat combines two fibres of plant origin. The pineapple leaf fibre comes from leaves that arise in any case during fruit cultivation. According to the manufacturer, the lyocell is produced in a closed-loop process. Both fibres are twisted into a spun yarn and woven in a plain weave.
The result feels supple and sturdy at the same time. According to the pattern specification, Palf is a plain colour, yet the surface remains lively: small irregularities in the yarn give the fabric the look of hand-woven linen.
Effect in the Room
As a semi-sheer fabric, Palf lets daylight through and traces the structure of the weave when backlit. The colour palette draws on the plant-based raw material and ranges from soft greens to calm neutral tones. At Villa Kontor, you can choose from six colour variants.
At 320 cm wide, Palf is suitable for curtains in living rooms, bedrooms and work areas. Kvadrat recommends measuring the curtain so that it touches the floor when hanging.
