How the Kvadrat Scan curtain fabric is made
Scan begins as analogue work: the designers apply colours by screen printing and layer them with spray paint. Kvadrat transfers this motif as a digital print onto Kanou, a plain-weave base cloth made of staple yarn. According to the product data, the fabric consists of 68% organic cotton and 32% hemp, that is, natural fibres from renewable raw materials. Scan is manufactured in Turkey.
