Material and weave of Kvadrat Sideway
Kvadrat weaves Sideway from finely spun, shot-effect délavé yarns. Délavé is the term for yarn with a slightly faded colour appearance: the shade looks not flat, but lively and nuanced. The satin weave lays the threads smoothly on the surface, which creates the understated lustre. The front and back are in different colours, both made from the same linen.
The effect in the room
Sideway shows its character in backlight. When light passes through the curtain, the colours of the two sides blend, and the darker reverse shows through.
