Kvadrat Twisted Flower combines the colour artistry of Giulio Ridolfo with a hand-woven pattern from the archive of the late weaver Frans Dijkmeijer. The virgin wool upholstery fabric appears plain, yet a two-colour twisted yarn gives its surface rhythm and depth.

Both designers share a passion for botanical motifs. The name describes a simple gesture: a single flower turned between the fingers. Kvadrat translates this image into yarn. A single-colour yarn quality in varying thicknesses meets a specially developed two-colour twisted yarn, both woven as worsted yarn in a dobby weave. From a few metres away, the fabric looks calm and plain. Up close, the interplay of the two colours in the twist becomes visible, and the hand feels a finely structured surface.
Kvadrat has Twisted Flower woven in the United Kingdom. According to the manufacturer, the fabric carries the EU Ecolabel and Greenguard Gold certification.
