The fragrance composition of Trudon Abd El Kader
The opening is fresh and spicy. Blackcurrant buds, lemon and apple meet ginger, clove and green mint. Jasmine lies beneath, with vanilla forming the base. Trudon describes the image behind the fragrance as a wind from the coast near Mascara and from the mountains, picking up the scent of fresh mint and hot tea along its way. Trudon has been making candles since 1643. According to the manufacturer, the scented candles are made in its own workshop in Normandy. The wax is entirely plant-based. It sits in a green glass bearing a golden crest; on the smallest size, the crest is printed directly onto the glass.
Four sizes, four burn times
The Petite at 70 g burns for 18 to 20 hours and the Classique at 270 g for 55 to 60 hours, both with one wick. The Intermede at 800 g has three wicks and burns for 110 to 120 hours. The Grande at 2800 g, with five wicks, lasts for more than 300 hours.

Tip
When lighting the candle for the first time, let it burn until the entire surface of the wax has melted. Trim the wick to about 3 to 4 mm before each use and place the glass on a heat-resistant surface.
