The fragrance composition of Ernesto
The perfumer Émilie Bouge composed Ernesto for Trudon. Bergamot, grapefruit and rum open the fragrance. At its heart are oak, clove, labdanum and patchouli. Tobacco, amber, leather and moss form the base. The result is a woody, spicy fragrance with a dry, austere character that suits a library, study or snug.

Trudon makes the vessels for its alabaster candles in Spain, each carved from a single block of stone. The veining remains visible, and every vessel is unique. The refill allows you to keep using this vessel or to try a new fragrance in it. According to Trudon, the scented, plant-based wax of its alabaster candles is poured by hand in the Perche.
Using it is simple: empty and clean the vessel, take the wax body out of the box, remove the protective paper sleeve and place it in the vessel. The old wick can stay in the vessel.

Place the empty vessel in the fridge for a few hours before refilling. The wax contracts and can be broken up around the wick with a blunt knife. Afterwards, clean the alabaster with cool to lukewarm water and mild soap, and avoid sharp changes in temperature so that the stone does not crack.
